The Uniform Studio was commissioned by Ilse Crawford's team at Studio Ilse to work closely with them in designing uniforms for this legendary venues 'recent refurbishment (which) plays off the frisson of its proximity to the theatres…' In doing so we subtly weaved in a sense of theatre such as elements of the tuxedo along side over-sized apricot pussy bows and bow ties to the functional practicalities of uniforms. The result appealing to both the traditions of the venue as well as its evocative Soho surroundings.
