Southbank & Hayward Gallery.
The Southbank Centre and Hayward Gallery are not only famous for the culture they house but how they are housed! The brutalist surroundings are almost as recognisable as the art that goes inside them!
So, this was the inspiration for our designs. We used familiar, brutalist shapes to create product silhouettes and inform the on-garment print designs. We elevated a simple black t-shirt to something that echoed the unique surroundings and environment.
We went for the famous Southbank yellow, bold green and blue palette - again, instantly recognisable highlight colours.

We are delighted with the new pieces Lois and Chris put together for our team at Southbank Centre. We have a range of ages and requirements, and we were able to work together to produce a selection of options for staff that retained their sense of individuality and gave them choice.

We felt super excited about getting involved in a project with such a brilliant, progressive and culturally significant space.
We used quality 100% cottons across all garments (t-shirts, grandad collared shirts, raglan sleeve sweatshirts and bandanas) for comfort and biodegradability.
To allow for some individual expression we wanted to create an accessory that would encourage personal styling so we designed a brutalist inspired bandana.
All featured the classic Southbank yellow, bold green and blue.
